LeFiell has always been an employee-owned company since it was established in 1930 by Mr. Gus LeFiell.  In 1974, LeFiell became one of the original seventeen ESOP companies to be created in the United States.  The ESOP Trust shares have increased from 30% to 64% in just the past twelve years.  The employee owners have accomplished this without incurring an ESOP Trust loan.

LeFiell is an active member of The California / Western States Chapter of the ESOP Association with Mr. George Ray, our President and CEO on the 1999 Steering Committee as the First Vice President.
